Where Nanoscale Infrastructure Professionals Engage and Collaborate
Join us at our next regional meeting to connect, learn, and lead in the nanoscale infrastructure community.
About OneNano
OneNano is a society of nanoscale infrastructure professionals—nanofab and characterization facility personnel related to the operations, administration, and facilities support across academia, industry and government—whose regional chapters foster meaningful engagement among operational peers.
OneNano is operated by The Society of Nanoscale Infrastructure Professionals, Inc., a Pennsylvania non-profit and a USA 501(c)(3) public charity.

Regional Chapters
Become part of our peer network of regional chapters
OneNano Chapters are regional communities of our nanoscale infrastructure professionals. Chapters plan meetings to provide a forum for regular, in-person peer engagement.
Our meetings foster strong professional networks grounded in community, equitability, impact, and transparency, ensuring value for organizations of all sizes while promoting open knowledge exchange within and beyond each region.
Be Part of the OneNano Community
Become a OneNano member and connect with peers shaping the future of nanoscale infrastructure. Join your regional chapter to share best practices, collaborate on real-world challenges, and build trusted professional relationships through in-person Meredith Meetings.
Frequently Asked Questions
OneNano is a diverse group of professionals—nanofab and characterization facility personnel related to operations, administration, and facilities support—working together to provide foundational and infrastructural support in nanotechnology across academia, government, and industry.
OneNano is operated by The Society of Nanoscale Infrastructure Professionals, Inc., a Pennsylvania non-profit and a USA 501(c)(3) public charity.
We meet to discuss topics that include, but are not limited to, operations management, lab safety, finance, supply chain, and other related areas, as they pertain to nanoscale infrastructure and the active scientific research and education it supports.
OneNano is operated by the Pennsylvania non-profit The Society of Nanoscale Infrastructure Professionals, Inc., which is doing business as OneNano. The organization’s board of directors and founders consists of nanoscale infrastructure operational peers of Southern California, the Midwest and the Mid-Atlantic United States to run regular meetings that honor its late founder, Mr. Meredith Metzler.
OneNano exists to establish a governance that provides a meeting framework for nanoscale infrastructure peers within a geographical region. As a general rule of thumb, a chapter’s region is determined by its members’ ability to travel within a reasonable distance to attend a meeting (or to return home) on the same day of travel to a meeting.
OneNano has three inaugural chapters: the Mid-Atlantic, Southern California (SoCal), and the Midwest.
