On behalf of the OneNano Mid-Atlantic Chapter, I’m excited to invite you to the Fall 2026 OneNano Mid-Atlantic “Meredith” Meeting, hosted by the Columbia Nano Initiative (CNI) at Columbia University on October 2nd, 2026.
The Meredith Meeting brings together nanofabrication, characterization, and shared facility professionals from across the Mid-Atlantic to exchange ideas, discuss operational challenges, and strengthen our regional community.

Call for Speakers
We’re currently building the meeting agenda and welcome community participation. If you have a topic you’d like to discuss, a best practice you’d like to share, or would be interested in giving a short presentation, please email me at [email protected].
Registration fees will be waived for speakers.
Hotel Information
A limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved for attendees. OneNano leadership will send a follow-up email next week with hotel reservation details and additional travel information.
If you plan to book your own accommodations and would like recommendations on neighborhoods or hotels near Columbia University, feel free to reach out and I’d be happy to help.

Getting to the Reception
The Craftsman is located at 3155 Broadway, between Tiemann Place and La Salle Street
- Subway: Take the 1 train to the 125th Street station. Exit onto Broadway and walk south two blocks to 3155 Broadway (east side of the street). Alternatively, take the 1 train to 116th Street–Columbia University and walk north along Broadway for about 9 blocks.
- Bus / Rideshare: Local MTA buses (M4, M104) stop along Broadway nearby. For rideshares, set your destination directly to “The Craftsman, 3155 Broadway.”
Getting to Columbia University
- By Subway: Take the 1 train directly to the 116th Street–Columbia University station. The main subway exit leads right to the campus gates at 116th & Broadway.
- By Rideshare / Taxi: Direct your drop-off to 116th Street and Broadway or 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Finding Pulitzer Hall & The World Room
- From 116th & Broadway: Walk through the gates. Pulitzer Hall is immediately to your right. Walk past the corner and around to the south-facing front entrance (facing South Field and Butler Library). Look for the neon Joe Coffee sign right next to the entrance.
- From 116th & Amsterdam: Walk west across College Walk towards Broadway. Pulitzer Hall will be on your left just before the Broadway gates; turn left to approach the south-facing entrance.
Reaching the World Room:
- Enter Pulitzer Hall (you will enter on the 2nd floor). Look for OneNano event signage in the lobby.
- Turn left inside the entrance to find the stairs and elevator.
- Take either up one level to the 3rd floor.
- The World Room will be directly on your right as you exit the elevator or stairs.
