Location:

Princeton Materials Institute Micro/Nanofabrication Center

The Princeton Materials Institute (PMI) is excited to host the next OneNano ‘Meredith’ Meeting for the Mid-Atlantic region on Friday, April 24th, sponsored by Samco! This single-day event, previously known as the Mid-Atlantic Nanofab Managers Meeting, is an informal gathering of professionals who manage or maintain nanoscale focused facilities such as cleanrooms and imaging / analysis suites at universities, government facilities, and in industry. Our goal is to serve the micro- and nanoscale fabrication and characterization community by advancing best practices in safety and data standards, strengthening collaboration in operational innovation, and supporting workforce and professional development across academia, government, and industry.

Schedule: Program talk details are forthcoming.

Thursday evening (4/23) 6 – 9 PM – Optional Networking Event at Winberie’s Restaurant & Bar
The event will start with an optional networking event with light fare and drinks Thursday evening at Winberie’s Restaurant & Bar. This is a good chance to catch up with colleagues and make new connections with staff and managers of similar research facilities in the region.

Friday (4/25) 8 AM – 3 PM – Main Conference at Princeton University’s Maeder Hall
This is the main event with presentations focused on topics of interest to staff of nanoscale facilities, mostly focused on facility operations, safety, and management. Many presentations result in a group discussion of the topic and further conversations at breaks. We end promptly at 3 PM so everyone has plenty of time to get home for the weekend. Light breakfast foods / beverages will be provided in the morning as well as a catered lunch midday.
